Who this is

EZ Web Development LLC operates ezweb.dev from Hollywood, Florida. The founder is Ezra Pinsky. You can reach a person at ezra@ezweb.dev or (561) 692-6868.

What the forms collect

Every audit form on this site asks for the same three things:

• Your name, so we know who we are writing to.
• Your email address, so we can send the audit and reply.
• Your website, because it is the thing being audited.

The form on the law firm page also asks for your firm's name. That is the whole list. We do not ask for a phone number, a payment method, a password, or an account. The only other things in a form are a spam trap field that real people never see and never fill in, and hidden fields that record where you came from and tie your request to the one question we ask afterwards. Those are described under Cookies below.

What we do with it

We read it, run the audit, and email you. We may follow up about that audit and about working together. If you tell us to stop, we stop and we delete the record. We do not add you to a newsletter you did not ask for, and we do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

What we do not do

This site carries no advertising and no cross-site tracking. No Meta pixel, no remarketing audiences, no session recording, no heatmaps, no A/B testing tool, and no profile of you that follows you anywhere else. We do look at which pages get read and which AI assistant referred you, so we know what is working. You can confirm what loads here yourself: open the page source or your browser's network tab and look.

Third parties that see a request from your browser

Loading any web page means your browser contacts the servers that serve it. On ezweb.dev those are:

• Netlify hosts this site and receives every form submission. Submissions are stored in our Netlify account. Netlify keeps standard server logs.
• Cal.com powers the booking buttons. Its script loads on page view, so cal.com sees a request from your browser even if you never click a booking button, and it may set its own cookies.
• Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this site uses, from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com.
• jsDelivr serves one small open source scrolling library.

Each of them receives your IP address and browser user agent, because that is how a request works. None of them receives a customer list, a form submission, or any profile from us. We have no advertising relationship with any of them.

Cookies, and the referral fields

EZ Web sets two cookies of its own and keeps the same values in your browser's local storage as a fallback. Neither holds a name, an email address, an IP address, or anything you typed.

ez_src records which AI assistant you arrived from (chatgpt, perplexity, gemini and so on), whether we learned that from the link you clicked or from the referring site, the date, and the page you landed on. ez_ref records the same kind of thing for everything else: the campaign tags on the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), the domain name of the site that linked to you, the date, and the page you landed on. We ask for 180 days; Safari shortens that to about 7.

If you then submit a form anywhere on this site, those values ride along in hidden fields named ez_source, ez_source_how, ez_source_first_seen, ez_source_landing, ez_source_last, ez_utm_source, ez_utm_medium, ez_utm_campaign, ez_referrer and ez_landing, so we can tell what found us. That is the whole purpose. Nothing is sent to a third party, there is no beacon and no endpoint, and none of it is used to build a profile or to follow you anywhere else.

Every form also carries a hidden field named ez_lead_id. It is a random string with nothing personal in it, minted in your browser the first time you arrive and kept alongside the cookies above. Its only job is described in the next paragraph.

When none of that tells us anything, which is what happens if you typed the address in or arrived with no referrer, we ask you directly. The question is not on the form. After your request is sent, the thank you page shows a small box with one question, "How did you find us?", and a row of buttons. One click answers it and nothing else is required; there is a skip link and a close button, and your request has already gone through either way. If you pick the AI assistant button we ask which one, because that is the answer we can actually act on. The answer is sent as its own submission, which is why ez_lead_id exists: it is how we know the answer belongs to your request. Your email address is included with it for the same reason. If we already know where you came from, the box never appears.

To be rid of them, clear cookies and site data for ezweb.dev in your browser. The site works the same without it. Separately, the cal.com embed may set cookies belonging to cal.com.

How long we keep things

We keep a form submission for as long as we are in contact with you, and for up to 24 months after the last message, then delete it. Email correspondence lives in our mailbox and follows the same rule.

Getting your data, or having it deleted

Email ezra@ezweb.dev and say what you want. We will send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it, within 30 days, and confirm when it is done. You do not have to explain why, and asking costs you nothing.

If you are a California resident: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we have not in the past 12 months. The rights above are the same ones the CCPA gives you, and we apply them to everyone regardless of where they live.

Children

This is a business to business service. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in Netlify behind an account with two factor authentication. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected people directly if something goes wrong.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. We do not make quiet edits.
